30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all subscription plans (monthly, yearly) and lifetime licenses. If you're not satisfied with Whisper for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at:

Include the following information:
- Your email address used for the purchase
- Order ID or transaction reference
- Brief reason for the refund request (optional but helpful)
Refund Processing Time
Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Once approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Lifetime License Refunds
Lifetime licenses are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, lifetime licenses are non-refundable due to the perpetual nature of the license.
Team Plan Refunds
Team plans are refundable within 30 days of the initial purchase or renewal. Refunds are prorated based on the number of days remaining in the billing cycle.
Exceptions
The following circumstances are not eligible for refunds:
- Refund requests made after 30 days from the purchase date
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Abuse of the refund policy (multiple refund requests)
What happens after a refund
Your Pro features switch off once the refund is processed, but your account stays. The free local tier — unlimited offline transcription, Ollama rewrites, history — keeps working exactly as before. Your transcription history lives on your device, so nothing you wrote is lost.
Cancelling vs. refunding
Cancelling stops the next charge but keeps Pro until your paid period ends — do it yourself anytime from the account page. A refund returns the money for the current period and ends Pro access right away. Within the first 30 days you can pick either; after that, cancellation is the path.
